Our first Aussie litter arrives!

We have been very busy lately moving from London to Sydney and getting settled in.  Things are going really well and we are loving Sydney so far though there is still loads to do before we are totally settled. Our belonging are still yet to arrive- they are on a ship and won't get here for some time yet so it will be a while before we are fully relaxed here.

We are very excited to announce that last week saw the arrival of our very first Aussie litter. Meadow (RW SGC Tavolga Sibaris of Snowgum) had a litter of 8 beautiful healthy babies. This is a very special litter as the father is the very handsome Innokentii, a gorgeous foundation Siberian boy direct from the St Petersburg area, whom Meadow visited in the UK prior to moving. A big thank you to Maria for this very special mating!

This litter brings a completely new Siberian bloodline to Australia so we will be keeping one of the babies to further the diversity of our breeding program.

Meadow is proving to be an excellent first time mum and all her babies are big and strong and growing well.  She has 7 boys and one girl in a mix of mackerel, spotted and classic patterns, some with and some without white. They are really a beautiful bunch and we are loving having kittens around again after the short break we have had.

If you have emailed in the past month I do apologise for my lack of reply. I will be in touch shortly.

Here are some pictures of the gorgeous litter.  Apologies for the pics, they were taken on the phone. I have taken some on my SLR too but then realised that the cable to transfer them to the computer is in one of the boxes on the ship! How annoying!
